The Wedding
June 5, 2004 had to be the most beautiful day I think I've ever seen. The skies were blue, not a cloud in the sky, birds were chirping, soft breezes were blowing, a warm sun shiny day in the upper 70's...it was a perfect day for a wedding. My daughter, my only child was getting married. I was happy and sad at the same time. She was absolutely beautiful, I was absolutely dead tired. I was up half the night working on the last minute details, decorating the church, the ball room and worrying about the bags that were going to be under my eyes on the day of the wedding from staying up way to late. She is the focus here, and this wedding was going to be perfect....and it was. I cried the day she was born, I cried the day she graduated and I cried the day she married. Those were tears that I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world...even though I was up to my eye balls in debt over the expense of it all. It was worth every penny.
